Fatwa Arbuckle: Misanthropologist

G’day, GN; it’s Monday again…gaaaaaah!!!1

Is this also National Ouroboros Day? šŸ˜‰

1 in 12 on Bloombergā€™s gun victims list are crime suspects.

I’m shocked, shocked that an ill-conceived and hastily-executed PR stunt would have some serious flaws. Unlike what happens with ill-conceived and hastily-executed legislation…such as the latest immigration bill.

Heh. Except it wasnt a flaw. These people just don’t care. It’s for the children and all that.

Good morning, Gerbil Nation!
Good morning, Fatwa and Mac!

Day camp is set up and ready to go! The archery range is ready! Well, except for the new bows that we ordered that are on back-order. And the new bow strings that are the wrong diameter. And the new arrows that are also back-ordered. Looks like we’ve got a lot of repair work to do on the old equipment.

Just how Mondays often feel for me.

I can relate in my own way, Mac…and empathize, too.

That’s teh suckage.

Is all of the archery stuff backordered because the DHS, IRS, ICE and FBI have been buying-up bowstrings and arrows?

I think the problem was the one-bow-a-month purchase limit. That and they probably thought we were creating a stockpile of arrows.

Between stuff like this plus the ongoing IRS and NSA revelations, Iā€™m starting to feel a little unmoored from reality right about now. Iā€™m seriously tempted to pour myself a slug of tequila at 9:47 on a Sunday morning.

Honestly, I’m starting to feel like a member of the tinfoil-hat club lately.
Mr. X wants me to put our ammo list on my phone -- I won’t because it’s a Samsung and has a Google-based OS.
And that’s just one thing.

I found myself wondering, “What would my dad think of all this?” Then again, from his perspective, what would the .gov care about an 80+-year old man looking at Swedish pr0n? But I think on the basic premise, he’d be pissed.

And…hopefully the trigger point shots tomorrow will help in relieving this endless headache -- and maybe I can get back to living a somewhat “normal” life -- instead of timing everything by when I took my last BC powder. Or Imitrex.

‘Course if I had a Mangler who wasn’t a freakin’ idjit on top of being untrustworthy, that might help too.

Good morning, TeX!
Sorry about the migraines and Mangler.

TeX!!1!!!11gladtaseeya!!1

Honestly, Iā€™m starting to feel like a member of the tinfoil-hat club lately.

That’s a purty good way to describe it. (BTW, I use heavy-duty foil; hey, it couldn’t hurt.)

Hope tomorrow’s shots are efficacious.

I wonder if Nanny Bloomberg’s going to come up with dumbass reasons to ban Nik Wallenda’s proposed performance in NYC.

(If he does get to do it, I’d love to see Nik light up a ginormous stogie at the halfway point and tell teh Tiny Tyrant to “Molon labe!”. And/or drink a Big Gulp; nice sponsorship opportunity for 7-Eleven.)

He could ban the word “Jeebus” or public displays of prayer, that that’d be the end of it right there.

Hey X-hope the treatments work-and that you don’t come out looking like Nancy Pelosi! One friend of mine tried them a few years back and had good results.

Cool and cloudy day here today, and then we gear up for record breaking heat in a couple of days. The Weather Service is already issuing warnings.

Low-level employees are everywhere!

http://www.mediaite.com/tv/carney-blasts-hong-kongs-troubling-snowden-decision-unquestionably-damaged-u-s-china-relations/

And on the question of how involved the Chinese government was in the decision to let Snowden go, Carney said, ā€œwe are just not buying this was a technical decision by a Hong Kong immigration official. This was a deliberate choice by the government to release the fugitive despite a valid arrest warrant. That decision unquestionably has a negative impact on the U.S.-China relationship.ā€ He added, ā€œIf we cannot count on them to honor their legal extradition obligations, then there is a problem.ā€

The White House seems to be saying that American low-level employees are mightily empowered to do all sorts of things without their bosses’ knowledge, but they aint buying that Chinese would do the same.

So the immigration bill moves on to its next steps. I’m not happy about it.

Cleaning up the office and listening to some Tommy Bolin. Great stuff-really nice guitar work.

This is what happens when you do too many drugs. One of the greatest guitar players ever, Ritchie Blackmore, and this is what he’s spent his time on the last ten or so years.

It’s like something straight out of Spinal Tap.
