Teh Squeaky Wheel
Sure Happy It’s Thursday, Gerbil Nation!
Mrs. Paddy and I fly home today. It’s been a much-needed vacation, but it is time to go home. After spending a couple of days in Key West, we drove back up to St. Pete and took Teh Younger out for dinner last night. He’s settling in well. The college seems to be the perfect fit for him, for which we are thankful.
Not looking forward to many hours of flying and the attendant bureaucratic/governmental queuing up and waiting, but I can’t afford a private jet, so there it is.
There was a picture posted last night of our clown-in-chief. Did anyone else think it looked like he was committing suicide with finger pistols?
Safe travels, Paddy, and thoughts and prayers today for your family, Mac.
I see some interloper dropped by last night. Hrmph. That’ll teach me about security and all that.
Sure Happy It’s Thursday, GN!
Delighted to see Teh Younger’s school seems to be a good match for him; hope you and Mrs. Paddy have as uneventful (and safe) a journey as possible in this modern age.
Had to go back and take a gander at teh pic of our Joke(r)-in-Chief; heh.
You, Elena and her family remain in our thoughts today.
Paddy’s use of the phrase “finger pistols” reminded me of this ad from my long-ago yout’:
Almost home! We’re in Las Vegas, waiting for the last segment of our air travel. What a carp-hole of an airport. It will be good to be home, sleeping in my own bed.
There’s no place like home! Now I just have to get used to this chilly weather!
I am glad to hear you are home safe, Paddy. It sounds like it was a good trip.
Welcome home, Paddy and Mrs. Paddy!
