Here it is just 08:28 EDT and I’m already well beyond cranky from reading the BS and outright lies surrounding the anniversary of Dr. King’s most famous speech.
As previously expressed -- based upon results -- sometimes I feel like the civil rights movement was well-intentioned foolishness. I certainly resent the marginalization of many friends, family members and other folks of good will who stood-up when it counted to support equality for all Americans.
To paraphrase something Insty said a couple of days ago: When the grand old men of your “movement” are scumbags like Al “Diamond Merchants” Sharpton and Jesse “Fake Bloody Shirt” Jackson, you’ve got a serious problem.

CA is in the mud and set to release 10,000 violent prisoners to comply with federal court orders. Gov Moonbeam has some other plan in mind--build or outsource to other facilities and take the money from somewhere else in the state’s budget.
Im thinking why not just outsource to local residents? Every street in the SFV has at least one elder care/room and board type of residence where the old people get put; the inspections and requirements are pretty nil, so why not expand that idea to prisoners? Each house could hold at least 2 prisoners and at a cheaper cost than building a new prison.

I’m going to head in to school today -- the last day before we officially start -- to organize my files and do some copying ahead of the crowd. We’ll see who else is there.
I’m glad that all the other major problems in CA have been taken care of so the legislature can take up more anti-gun foolishness.
Hope there’s no wait for the copier…and that you can locate needed materials (Pendaflex and Manila folders, etc.) without having to wait for some incompetent yoonyun minion.

Hey…it’s not like law-abiding CA citizens might need to be able to defend themselves from any of those 10,000 violent wards of the state who are about to get sprung.
Now Paddy, a progressive leader like California has to think beyond mere money. They want to secure the safety of the low crime rates enjoyed by the national leaders in gun control like Chicago and Washington DC for all the good people of California, they deserve no less for electing such enlightened rulers to guide them through the complications of life that they are obviously unfit to deal with. Their Masters will take care of all that and keep them from wasting their money on foolish things like VCRs or large sodas when the Masters have such important things to do with it. We can’t be worried about things like debt or money when we are in such good hands.
