In remembering this day I just had to stop in to see my dear friends here at Teh Squeaky Wheel.

As I reflect on the dark events of September 11th I always think on how much comfort I drew from the fellowship here. Our many different stories of unspeakable sorrow were spoken about in safety and September 11th became something more than just private shock and outrage as we shared our experiences and memories. It was a boon to my sore heart and one I will always be thankful for. I pray for each and every one of you daily. You are always in my thoughts.

With gerbilly blessings upon your furry little heads, I remain,

yours very truly,

Plaguie

The treat is mine, Gentle Mac.

That sounded funny but you know what I meant.

It is a pleasure to be here. It is a treat! You’d think I would just wait before I blurt something out but nope! The older I get the less I worry about sounding foolish.

How are you my dear friend?

I am doing well, thank you. I am ready to rest now. It has been so nice to visit with you tonight. Take care, my Gentlest of friends.

Good night.

A brief visit by the most wondrous of faeries -- a good and proper end to this day, not in sadness, but in hopeful reflection. For wherever Harper is, there is peace, and there is hope, and the promise of stories by the fire.

HAD I the heavens’ embroidered cloths,
Enwrought with golden and silver light,
The blue and the dim and the dark cloths
Of night and light and the half-light,
I would spread the cloths under your feet:
But I, being poor, have only my dreams;
I have spread my dreams under your feet;
Tread softly because you tread on my dreams.
