Sure Happy It’s Thursday, Gerbil Nation!
Back-to-School-Night was last night. It made more sense to just stay at school than to fight traffic in both directions, so I was at school from 6:30 am to 8:15 pm. I woke up in the middle of the night with a raging sinus headache, later the cat decided to cough up a furball on the bed, then 10 minutes before my alarm went off, some strange cat wandered into the backyard and my cat went nuts.
There is not enough coffee in my house to get me going this morning.
I hope y’all have a Jerrie-ific day, ‘cuz you just know he will!
G’morning from cool, drizzly yet Happy Larryville, GN!
Heya, Sven & Paddy!
Paddy --
Guess you’ll have to raid teh teacher’s lounge for caffeine; “all your coffee are belong to us!”
Well OK then, sugarplums. It’s all OK.
Oh, yeah…I can imagine Mrs. Sven or LambiePieK having that particular reaction. Not.

I’m beginning to suspect that he’s hoarding that particular commodity, since he’s generally the only Gerbil who has them. Perhaps we need some common-sense legislation… 😉
This is really delightful: A British orchestra performing a suite of composer Scott Bradley’s music from “Tom & Jerry” cartoons:
While this is a larger -- and better-rehearsed -- orchestra than those used for the original MGM cartoons, it sure reminded me of how technically demanding old-school animation music was to perform. (Bear in mind, the original session musicians had effectively no rehearsals; they probably ran down the cues once or twice before recording them. With, no doubt, some studio tool offering critique while repeatedly pointing at his watch.)
IMHO, Bradly was #2 after Carl Stalling (Loony Tunes / Merrie Melodies) -- who has the entire top tier of classic animation composers all to himself.
Off to Walmart for some cubed steak and scallions…the “kids” are coming over tomorrow night for my Mongolian Beef and ClanK-style “smashmouth” Monopoly…which neither SiL nor I have ever played before.
The sunroom renovations are proceeding apace with just a few hiccups. It seems the trim was all screwed in rather than nailed. Makes for difficult removal.
What a cute lil’ kitty!!!!

GOOD AFTERNOON/EVENING EVERYONE!
Greetings from deliriously delightful Bountiful.
I sure do hope y’all are having a superb day, ’cause you just know I am. Paddy said so!

Did Jerry say he screwed the trim?
