It will be interesting to read about today’s IRS hearing. If Lois Lerner refuses to testify, will Congress show that their bark has some bite attached to it, or will they roll over?
On the Crimean front, the pictures I’ve seen of the Russian “tanks” are really 122mm howitzers -- which supports the idea that Putin plans on taking over more of the Ukraine. His purported reason -- to protect Russian citizens -- could also be used to justify entry into Latvia, Lithuania, and Estonia.
Lerner’s taken the Fifth again, refused to testify and was dismissed. Issa and Woodall are craven cowards
I’ve seen worms in dog’s stool with more integrity than the entire Oversight Committee in aggregate. Further, the fragrance of the dog stool would be a breath of fresh air compared with the committee’s chamber.

Is it really only Hump Day? I was hoping for TGIF at least. Not that today was bad. Just another long day that started way too early.
As you all know, I am not partial to Rosy Fingered Dawn unless I have stayed up all night. Tomorrow is the only day this week that I will miss her because I was NOT already at work. I am supposed to be at a Chamber of Commerce Networking thingy at 7frickin30AM. Not happening this week. And who decided I get to lose an hour on my only day off?
It was nice weather this afternoon. I worshiped teh Orb for half an hour without a winter coat, so that was nice.

If she still takes the fifth, then this time ask her the questions and let her invoke each time. That will make for some great soundbites.
Given Issa’s lack of cashews to-date, he’s probably offered her a paid holiday, first class airfare, use of his timeshare and a set of Tupperware.
And I don’t give a rat’s ass about the (alleged) threats against Lerner and her family; blatant statist goons should be threatened…at a minimum.
