Sven — as I read your post, I’m inspired to both reach the pinnacle of my possibilities and to vomit on my host’s carpet.
He surely has a twist of phrase, doesn’t he? I was with him … right ’til the end.
Happy Sunday all y’all. I’m intent on taking it *real* easy today as I ended up pushing it just a bit yesterday.
(gotta do what you gotta do, and even with two others here to “help” they were too scared, and Mr. X had to keep the tree righted with the tractor while I braced it)
A blessed Sabbath, Gerbil Nation!
Good morning, TeX (how nice to see you, ma’am!) and Fatwa!
Today is the last Sunday for Mrs. Paddy’s pastor (and boss) -- she’s been promoted to District Superintendent. In another week it will be my pastor’s last Sunday -- he’s being transferred along with his wife (Mrs. Paddy’s boss). We’re losing both good spiritual leaders and good friends. In two weeks we’ll both have new pastors and Mrs. Paddy will have a new boss. The only constant, it seems, is change.
Thanks for the offer, Sven. At the moment my needs seem to fall into two categories: legal and employment. I have a lawyer through the CTA, but I’m not entirely sure how much the CTA will cover. In the other category, it looks like I need to find a new career. I was once a Materials and Process Engineer in the defense electronics industry and an analytical chemist in the medical device field.

Other than that, I got nuthin’.
Breakfast anyone?
G’day, Gerbiliños!
No shiat…we need a New Wheel Order. 😉
Hee!
I got nothin’ else; rats!

A cat needs a book like a fish needs a bicycle. Dogs on the other hand….
Paddy: is there anything we can do to help out with your current situation? Anything at all?
