Teh Squeaky Wheel
Good morning and happy Wednesday!
So the Obama guiding principle in all things is “Dont do stupid stuff”? Like not having the ATF walk guns to Mexican cartels? Like not having the IRS target conservative groups? Like not referring to ISIS as a jayvee terrorist team? Like not having your guys lie to Congress about everything? Like not telling people that if you like your plan you can keep your plan?
I wonder how they define “stupid stuff” cuz it sounds like what he really means is do whatever you want with the least amount of effort and dont get caught doing it and if you do get caught, just ignore it or blame Bush.
Off to work--happy days everyone!
G’morning from less-humid Happy Larryville, GN!

Good morning Sven and Fatwa!
School starts in a few weeks, I’m scheduled to attend a 3-day seminar next week (and earn a stipend), and haven’t heard anything from the district in almost two months, so I thought I’d send out a couple of emails to the head of personnel, yesterday. She called after-hours while we were attending a ball game, so I let it go to voice mail. She wants to “touch base” with me and “keep me up to date”. When can we meet? Yes, we can arrange to let me pick up my belongings from my classroom. No, she doesn’t respond to email -- nothing is ever in writing. No, she doesn’t contact me, despite promises to the contrary, until I contact her. I also haven’t gotten any response from my CTA rep. Very frustrating.
Criminy, Paddy…that is teh suck; I’m sincerely sorry you’re being subjected to such craven crap-weaselry.
Have you tried contacting anyone further up the CTA food chain? Or filing a grievance? 😉
Crap, I’m sorry Paddy. Was hoping maybe for some good news on your front.
Fairly unequivocal, therefore, obviously, not uttered by this President:
“The dramatic plight of Christians, Yezidis and other religious communities and ethnic minorities in Iraq requires a clear and courageous stance on the part of religious leaders, especially Muslims, as well as those engaged in interreligious dialogue and all people of good will. All must be unanimous in condemning unequivocally these crimes and in denouncing the use of religion to justify them. If not, what credibility will religions, their followers and their leaders have? What credibility can the interreligious dialogue that we have patiently pursued over recent years have?”
Il Douchey lecturing others on credibility?
