Why am I up at such an early hour? Mrs. Paddy and I are taking Teh Younger to the airport so he can head back to college. Teh summer is over and I’m going to miss him!

I’m thinking President Saddle Shoes could have saved valuable golfing time yesterday by having his rostrum, flags and teleprompter brought to the golf course for his utterly pointless statement.

Ferguson, MO was a lot calmer last night; very glad to see they finally brought in a lead LEO who apparently knew how to deal with the situation sans DoD surplus toys. Also happy to see that the police militarization issue is getting some vigorous discussion; ’bout damned time.
Read last night the idiot Ferguson police chief let his Thursday presser get taken-over by the local Black Panthers; what a dangerously incompetent dipshit.
I imagine that the police chief in Ferguson was a small town type cop and completely unprepared for the national attention and organized efforts from those in the black grievance industry. I have no idea what happened the night of the shooting, but the only reason it’s getting the attention it is getting is because of race--which at this point no one can say with any certainty was a factor in the shooting.
