(Ought not be as difficult as last week, since it’s slightly more than half-empty…and I think the bulk of heavy / awkward stuff has already been removed.)
While I’m not a huge fan, I rather liked the “attitude” in Rick Perry’s mugshot; I think TX Dems made a seriously bad decision indicting him.

Well, I cleaned out my classroom last Friday, with Teh Older’s help. Teh head of HR and two custodians met me at one of the gates and unlocked my classroom. A few minutes later, HR lady returned with the two custodians and one of the new Asst. Principals to offer help with moving boxes. I politely declined the repeated offers of help. I should mention that the new AP stands about 6’5″ and weighs a muscular 250 lbs. -- show of force, anyone? I did run into two of my former colleagues -- they have no idea what’s going on or what the allegations against me are. HR mentioned setting up a meeting for late next week “to keep me in the loop” -- assuming she has any more information to share with me. Funny, she only tries to keep me in the loop after I contact her. The sad thing is, I know this process has only just begun. I’m ready to wash my hands of the whole district, but I’m not willing to give up and let them get away without a fight.
I tell you, it’s enough to drive a person to drink (moar).
I’m very sorry, Paddy. This just burns me. You are just the type of teacher we need in our schools. I am getting to where I think public schools should just be eliminated.
