Happy anniversary to Fatwa & BK. I may be a day (or two?) early(?).
All there years & I’m stil not sure who got the better catch.
Or who to be jealous of.
Yes I said “of” at the end of my sentence and I do not care.
Not sure on the Scottish vote today--I don’t have an opinion either way. Interesting times no matter how it turns out.
Finally cooled down out here and was able to get some sleep. Supposed to heat up again over the weekend, but it’s about 15 degrees cooler right now than yesterday.
“Sven — I’m only certain of one student, who made the initial complaint, and I haven’t been able to locate her on social media. Her report, I think, was an honest mis-perception. Someone from the district was monitoring Twitter at the outset and contacted students to have them delete tweets about me and the situation.”
It would be nice to know who contacted the students and exactly why and if there is a record of such tweets. It seems important especially since there is no hard evidence, only student perceptions. What a maddening situation.
Good thoughts from both of us to Elena (and you); hope that you two are much better this morning…and that Elena heals very quickly.

Our anniversary’s actually tomorrow; we have a hard time remembering the precise date because we had to change it so many times. (I keed you not; resser-fresser Jooooish holidays in September!)
There were a couple of folks whom we were obliged to invite -- even though we didn’t expect them to actually be there -- that the date was changed several times because courtesy. (K8-E and the previous manager at KFH&BBQ were wonderfully sweet about it.)
Plus, it seems appropriate our “special day” coincides with “International Talk Like A Pirate Day”.

There’s no question that I got the better end of the deal; it’s a wonder that LambiePieK puts up with an increasingly cantankerous, prickly and just plain grumpy old me.
