As it is in countries which haven’t codified their fascist, puritanical and demonstrably racist policies into law.
‘Cause when one can barely walk, it’s really “compassionate” to make them drive to multiple locations and be put on a gummint registry simply to satisfy bluenosed bureaucrats. With every passing day, I hate what this country’s become even more. Fuck both major parties and their faceless mandarins who erode our Constitution 24/7/365; may they all die horribly -- and ironically -- as a result of their own policies.
Public officials who violate the Constitution ought to be exterminated as the squalid, traitorous vermin they are. A robust and even-handed application of this revolutionary -- and patriotic -- thinking would almost certainly result in more liberty.

Hmmm, it seems that video is no longer available on Vimeo. I double-checked on the Vimeo page and it’s not there! It’s not on their fckh8.com website, either. It’s also been removed from youtube. That’s pretty fast for something that was only posted yesterday. BTW, the website is calling it a “viral video” -- talk about chutzpah. It hasn’t had time to go viral.

Fatwa -- I’m glad you’re doing better this morning (although I thought cussing as you got out of bed was just your way of greeting the day).
That was a seriously eff’d up video. “Teach boys not to rape” has to be one of the most nonsensical, dim-witted slogans I’ve ever heard. How about “teach people not to kill”? Or “teach people not to start wars”? Why not “visualize world peace”?
“Punch back twice as hard against statist goons who abrogate constitutional rights” would be another good one. Also “Equality means everyone is held to the same standards without any exceptions”.

On a cheerier note, I highly commend Home Run Inn’s “Classic” (sausage and pepperoni) frozen pizza if they’re available in your area. We tried one last night and it was far and away the best store-bought frozen I’ve ever had.
The skylight is officially installed!
Mrs. Paddy and I picked it up this morning -- it was the correct size, but had a couple of dents in the frame. I agreed to a 10% discount, rather than ordering a new one. I got it up on the roof and it fit just fine. I pilot-drilled the mounting holes, removed the skylight, put caulking around the screw holes and on the top of the mounting curb, then put the skylight back in place and secured the corners. The next step was to climb off the roof and recharge the battery for my cordless drill so I could put the rest of the bloody screws in place. That’s all done, a little caulk was added around the mounting screws and the tools have been removed from the roof. The living room is much, much brighter than it has been the past several weeks and the double-dome should help with heating and cooling loss.
Well done, Paddy!! I hope that is not the only bright news to come along. May you find a new situation that fits as well and brings light into your life and home.
Terrorist attack in Canada. While that description is a step up from “we don’t know the motive” or “workplace violence” I’m tired of it as well. It was a Muslim attack.
When I hear “terrorist attack”, I most often think of Amish separatists armed with Wahl clippers. Followed by unlicensed bacon-wrapped hotdog vendors in Los Angeles.
