Teh Family and I went to DLand yesterday. It was drizzling when we left home and was supposed to be raining off and on all day, so we dressed appropriately. It had stopped raining by the time we arrived and didn’t start again until after we had left, late in the evening. It was a beautiful day, the crowds were small, and we all would have dressed differently if we had known.

Nah…because bumbling ineptitude, corruption and high-speed choo-choo. But I’ve been wondering the same thing.
If I were cynical, I’d also posit that perennial water shortages are a pretty damned effective way to control large populations.
“Put the farking money and freedom in the basket, or else it doesn’t get teh hose again.”
But I’m certain the kindly, caring, compassionate and liberty-loving folks who run CA would never do something like that.
