Read last night that teh Capitol’s phone lines got overwhelmed yesterday by (allegedly) folks calling their Reps to “just say ‘no’ to the teary-eyed Oopma Loompa”. And remember…if your Boehner lasts longer than four years, seek medical attention immediately.

I heard Fred Barnes on the Hugh Hewitt show yesterday and they both felt that Boehner would be re-elected Speaker. They were touting his many accomplishments and looking forward to what he would now be able to accomplish. With big-government friends like that, who needs Democrats?

There’s been effectively no difference between the two major parties for quite sometime, IMHO. Neither of them support the Constitution, thus sundering the social compact and and rendering the “consent of the governed” moot.
Our Founders -- particularly Jefferson -- warned us repeatedly and suggested effective remedies.
