Fatwa Arbuckle: Misanthropologist

G’day from chilly yet Happy Larryville, GN!

Maaaaaaan…I’m gonna have to check the back of our fridge. With long-handled grilling implements; that thingy in teh thread pic is a bit more off-putting than a long-forgotten jar of salsa.

Reminds me of this whimsically macabre sorta-spoken word track from Zappa. (Possibly NSFW due to a single “F-bomb”.)

“Sometimes the milk can hurt you
(If you put it on your cereal
Before you smell the plastic container)
And the stuff in the strainer
Has a mind of its own”

Addendum(b): That’s Steve Vai on guitar “doubling” the vocal.

Good morning and wonderful thread pic, Mac: thanks.

Rainy here so I know what Fatwa is doing.

Happy Tuesday, Gerbil Nation!
Good morning, Fatwa and Sven!

I see Fatwa made it through the shower and is ready for a little Arbeit. I know it’s chilly in Happy-Larryville, but don’t turn up the heater too much. Just sayin’.

Hai, Sven and Paddy!

Sven is correct; I’ve just gotten done annotating a couple of dozen pictures and now get to caption them and finish up a difficult report.

Also expect some opportunity via phone and email.

…ready for a little Arbeit.

I could also go for some fries. Really good ones like Five Guys. 😉

(Or In-N-Out, if only there was one closer than Texas. But then I’d have to try Whataburger, too.)

Arbeit mit Fries.

Drive-by:

Heh.

Would that make me a big macher?

(If so, I wish to lodge a complaint, as that august status is certainly not reflected in my lifestyle nor the means to it. Damn those “New York money men”; it’s like they never get the “change of address” forms for my monthly ZOG checks. Of which I’ve never received a single one. Perhaps they look upon me, to couch it in Zappa-esque terms, as a “Sears Jooo”.)

Is that a real poncho . . . I mean
Is that a Mexican poncho or is that a Sears poncho?

They did OK, Mac. They did run into some problems, but they stayed on and got things figured it out although it was a 12-hour day for them.

This is one of the most talented group of tech grunts that I’ve ever worked with; on the other hand, it’s the most poorly led and managed department that I’ve ever worked with too.
