Nice thread GIF, Mac; glad Shovel Boy appeared to be okay as roof-related mishaps make me cringe jes’ a leetle bit.
Aaaaaaaand it’s Monday…gaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!
We’re expecting some rain this evening which is slated to end just before temperatures plummet from the low 40s into the 20s. It’ll be chilly all week here in Happy Larryville with some lows in the teens; makes me just a bit wistful for SoCal winter temps.
I’m not a huge Walking Dead fan, but do watch it when it’s on. Anyhow, I’m watching it Sunday night and it’s the usual weary survivor’s trek type of episode, but they do get attacked by a pack of dogs. Which got me wondering: what has happened to all of the wildlife? You would think that with 95% of humanity zombied out, that the rest of the world’s fauna population would like skyrocket. There should be scavengers of all types everywhere, especially with all that rotting flesh wandering around, but even the most decayed zombie has fewer flies hovering around than I do when working in the yard. There’s no birds, no rats, although one survivor did eat a worm and they did show a bunch of dead frogs.

Good morning and happy President’s Day!
It’s set to be in the high 70s today, Fatwa. Who knew that winter was going to be only two weeks out here this year? Dreading the summer.
I don’t kilt threads; Fatwa kilts threads!
It’s not dead, it’s just in hibernation.
Good morning, Gerbil Nation!
Hai, Fatwa and Sven!
As Sven said, it’s cooling off here in paradise, but it’s still hotter than the economy.
Hai, Sven and Paddy!
It’s hotter than the economy here, as well.
That’s libelslander…and therefore actionable!
“Did someone call for Actionable Jackson?”
Heh.
I’ll see your Actionable Jackson and raise you some Flaming. Russian. Guitar. Karate.
I gotcher flaming Russians right here!

Any ideas?
One take on it, although it doesnt explain why they arent a consideration in the show:

I got nuthin’, Sven (never seen the program)…but LambiePieK said there’s a wiki for both the show and the graphic novel it’s based on:

Thanks, Fatwa, I’ll check it out and my best to the lovely Mrs Arbuckle.
