SWMNBN’s current predicament is also the predictable outcome of multiple failures to take her behavior seriously -- from her parents to various police agencies, district attorneys, and judges -- they all thought a warning or a slap on the wrist would be sufficient to alter her behavior. It also is an example of the class divisions in our society -- her stalking has only been taken seriously by the authorities when it was those same authorities who were being stalked.

Good point, Paddy. I’d forgotten about how it was only when she went after govt officials or workers that anything got done.
