Tarnation!
With all that has been going on, I haven’t filed my taxes yet. I mean, its not that big of a deal, I just fill out the e- paper. I just haven’t
felt like sitting down & doing it.
First time ever that I have waited this long.

BW & I think that what we have is really the flu. But we neglected to ask for a flu test for her at the doctor. She found some unused Tammiflu & took one pill & felt better the next day, then was sick again. I tried it & the same thing happened. I couldn’t get her to take the last pill, so I took it this morning & do feel better than yesterday. So is this all in our heads? Mebbe. I don’t know anymore. We are just sick & tired of being sick & tired! LOL.

The twilight zone weather has continued. We are supposed to see the evil orb today, but I’m not holding my breath. Can’t hold my breath anyway-it makes me cough.
So the warning is, even though you think the “crud” is going around, it might be the flu. Get tested.

Resser-Fresser Tax Day greetings from Disgruntled and Vexed Larryville, GN!

Hai, RabBeet! Sorry to read that you’re both still feeling carpy and hope the two of you get better fast!

Due to teh self-employment tax (and the near-impossibility of being able to calculate our likely “voluntary tax” amount when they’ve been changing shit all last year), we owed money this year.

I suppose I should feel honored to have sent enough money to pay for about 30 seconds-worth of jet fuel for Il Douchey’s next golf outing on Air Force One…yet I feel naught but churlish and resentful.

I wonder if they’ll have WiFi in the FEMA camp?

150 years ago today the assassination of President Lincoln. I wonder if Obama will send out a tweet.

I was sort of expecting a Tweeted photo of POSOTUS gazing self-absorbedly at the Lincoln Memorial.

Fark the current gummint of this country; the Tree of Liberty’s getting mighty damned thirsty.

Happy Tax Day, Gerbil Nation!
Good morning, RabBiT and Fatwa!

RabBiT -- y’all get better now, ya’ hear?

This was the first time in years that I haven’t paid a penalty to the state for underpayment of taxes. Zero exemptions and take extra money out, please. I remember with great distaste the days of paying self-employment tax and paying quarterly estimates. If your income fluctuates, it seems you’re always on the hook for a penalty. Personally, I think everyone should be required to pay their taxes each time they get a paycheck -- not through payroll deduction, by writing a check and sending in a form. If people realized just how much the government sucks out of their pay, they’d want less government, not more.

I went to the doctor and got some spots on my face frozen off. I go back on Friday for a couple of biopsies. I also got a prescription for Jerry Atrick’s Patented ‘Smooth As a Baby’s Bottom’ skin blistering cream. I’ll start that tonight. I find it interesting that the active ingredient -- 5-fluorouracil -- is an anticancer agent that was often used as an example when I was studying the design and synthesis of anticancer agents back in the ’80’s.

Well this has been an unusual and mostly unpleasant day. I’m glad it’s done.

I’m sorry to hear that, Sven. What’s going on?

In the overall scheme of things, Paddy, nothing of any importance. Just work carp.
