Authorities say no charges will be filed against an Uber driver who shot and wounded a gunman who opened fire on a crowd of people in Logan Square over the weekend.
The driver had a concealed-carry permit and acted in the defense of himself and others, Assistant State’s Attorney Barry Quinn said in court Sunday.
But, but, but…guns are eeeeevil! The Left told me so! No one should have guns, except the police, although no one can tell me why the police should have guns if nobody else does. And if you do have a gun, it should be a Smart Gun® so that nobody but the owner can shoot it, unless you’re a cop, then you shouldn’t have to have a smart gun, even though 8 percent of the cops killed on duty are killed with their own firearms. Och! My head hurts!
