Exploding dog O grabbin’!

This has been another one of those weeks-whatever “those” means. BW took Tuesday off (after her regular days) to deal with some crackhouse business. Seems that the Dept. of Treasury snatched all the money out of the joint account BW had with TM. Brought the account down to zero! Sure, we knew we were going to have to pay back the checks that kept coming in. The funeral home & lawbau told us that it would take a few months to get it straightened out & not to worry about it, just don’t spend the money. So we didn’t We just kept it in there & kept the utilities on auto bill pay. We had to keep them on to keep the pool running & because Zombie Sis is still there.
But now we are afraid that the VA is going to snatch their money, so we had to go take a huge chunk of BW’s savings to put back in the account so that when they make their grab, it won’t leave a zero balance. This involved two different banks. More stress than BW needed.
So after that, we went over to the Crackhouse Mansion with the goal of getting just a couple of boxes of sentimental trinkets. We did that. And we also went through part of the garage, just seeing what was there. In the process, BW bent wrong & threw her back out.
Zombie Sis wanted absolutely nothing to do with helping us. All I was doing was trying to clear a walking path through the junk. I finally “made “her hold a piece of cardboard so that I could sweep up some leaves & trash & put it in the trash can!
Their city uses those stupid trash cans on wheels & they can only put out what fits in the can with the lid shut. Since her trash day was the next day, I crammed as much as I could I could in one. Judging by the amount already in there, ZS has missed a few trash pick ups.

All of this was too emotional before BW hurt her back. Then the DirectV bill came in the mail & ZS was furious that it was in her name. We explained that we cancelled it & said the person living there needed a paper bill. So the bill was from after the billing date until it was cancelled. ZS didn’t think she should pay it! We told her that if she didn’t then they probably wouldn’t ever give her an account if she wanted one in the future. She even called BW that night saying she didn’t understand what she should do about the bill. (Meaning-why won’t you pay this?) BW just said “Pay it”.

Part of the pile of crap in the garage is from Worthless Grandson. The things of his dead grandparents & father. He has been told & told to get that out. He won’t. He claims he doesn’t have anywhere to put it. Well, he makes enough money to rent a storage unit, but he Won’t. He never does anything to benefit others.. So BW told ZS to contact him &tell him to decide what he wants. He said he only wants a bicycle he has in there. He could care less about sentimental things. That is what really hurt BW’s heart.

So yesterday, BW’s back was such that she had to call off work again. Today she was a little better & went on in, limply.
Her problem is that she doesn’t want to be the one that actually throws out their stuff. And none of them will take the action to remove it. My gosh, if ZS or Sis had just filled the garbage cans twice a week, most of the junk would be gone & only furniture would be left.
You would think that these people could get anymore ridiculous-but they do.

could NOT get anymore ridiculous-but they do.
Now ZS is pet-sitting her dealer’s dog! After we just got rid of TM’s un-house broken dog. I’m sure she is getting “paid” for this “favor”.

Gotta get going on running my own errands.
Supposed to be another 95 degree day.
Then we will have a cool front of 89. Ha!

See ya later

G’morning, GN!

Hai, load-shouldering RabBeet! Very sorry that you and BW have to deal with so much Worthless- and Zombie-related carp on top of all that which goes along with the death of a parent.

{{{BW & RabBeet}}}

Hope that BW’s back improves rapidly.

In re teh stuff in the garage, see if Bagsters are available in your area and the price for pick-up; also be aware of their weight limitations. (One of the benefits is not paying a daily “rental fee” for a metal bin; makes it easier to set your own schedule.)

Sure Happy It’s Thursday, Gerbil Nation!
Good morning, RabBiT and Fatwa!

RabBiT -- add my thoughts and prayers to Fatwa’s.

This morning I fly up to Sacramento for my hearing. I won’t get back until this evening. I would surely appreciate any thoughts and prayers you could spare me. Y’all are a wonderful bunch!

Yum. I just ate some sliced bbq left over from last night’s run to the bbq place.
Yeah, Fatwa, we have thought about 1-800-junk & all that. The problem has been that no one wants to do any loading work. We are ust going to have to enlist Good Nephew’s help. He has already said he can get his dad’s truck & trailer to move stuff, but no one has a place to put anything. He is going to take a washer, dryer & small freezer to his house. He is willing to haul furniture to where ever & trash to the dump. But at least now we have a date for when ZS’ apt will be ready & that is half the battle. Supposedly WG is working “six days a week & his community service on Sunday”. He is living in the garage of his boss & comes teh crackhouse only to do laundry. Ha!
No more grandma’s money to bail him out of trouble. Just court fines & community service for years to come. This month -supposedly-the probation officer made a “Home” visit to teh CM & he pretended to live there.
Now I really gotta go.

Paddy --

You’ve got ’em!

(What a wretched sh¡t soufflé you’ve been served re this whole sorry matter.)

Safe journeys and may you prevail.

Read an article earlier claiming that, in some school districts, there are student-run black markets in salt, pepper and sugar packets because the MoochelleMeals™ (aka “CrappyMeals”) are so tasteless and awful.

Ahahahahahaha!

Hai, Mac!

Not society (which does indeed suck in many ways) so much as virtually all government institutions.

Given today’s Burwell decision, Obamacare ought to be renamed SCOTUSCare.

Heidi-ho, Gerbilinos!

My hearing was scheduled for the afternoon session, but we were able to get in at the end of the morning session, so I’m sitting at the airport, waiting for my flight. My 7:30 pm flight. My flight that I arrived 7.5 hours early for. I managed stand-by on an earlier flight, but they were overbooked. I’m on standby for a 4:45 flight, but that one is also overbooked, so that one doesn’t look good either.

The entire hearing process took less than 30 minutes. I was sworn in. One person asked a few questions, I provided a like number of answers, then they allowed me to make a closing statement. Following that, my attorney made a closing statement that lasted probably as long as the question/answer portion.

My attorney felt good about it, but we won’t know for a couple of weeks.

Let’s hope he wasn’t BSing you.

Sorry you’re stuck at the airport for so long; OTOH, maybe you’ll have a chance to trip a state legislator running for his/her flight. 🙂
