Another day, another illegal in jail for murder; this time in NE Ohio:
PAINESVILLE, Ohio — An attempted rape, a shooting and the death of a 60-year-old woman all happened within hours Monday in a small area in and around Lake Metroparks in Lake County.
The situation began more than two weeks before when Juan Emmanuel Razo was approached by Lake County sheriff’s deputies. He was found to be in the country illegally, yet not detained, according to Sheriff Daniel Dunlap.
Razo, 35, is in the Lake County Jail on $10 million bond. He is charged with shooting a woman, but is also expected to face other charges for the attempted rape of a 14-year-old girl and the killing of Margaret Kostelnik, 60.
One more example of why immunity for all public officials needs to be eliminated; every government employee responsible for a situation like this should be prosecutable. From POTUS down to dogcatcher.
A variety of licensed jobs – including architect, barber, boxer and accountant – soon will be open to undocumented immigrants in California.
Under SB1159, a law signed in September by Gov. Jerry Brown, all 40 licensing boards working under the California Department of Consumer Affairs must consider applicants regardless of their immigration status. Previously, only legal residents with Social Security numbers could be granted licenses.
Illegal aliens can currently take the California Bar exam and practice law in this state. I guess we should let them hold public office, too.
