After finishing up with the painters on Saturday, BW & I took Sunday off from TMP.
She is recovering from a thrown back.
Both our brains are fried from running numbers on what needs to be done and dwindling numbers in our bank account.
We are rapidly reaching the “walk away” position.
As usual, not a peep from Sis & ZS…
Our “cold front” came through, so it will only be 100 today. Ha! They are saying 104 & 105 this weekend.

Y’all have a Jerrific-licious day, ’cause you know he will.

Good morning, Gerbil Nation!
Good morning, RabBiT and Sven!

Teh Older goes back to college on Friday (more training for the search & rescue team), so we’re trying to cram in everything we haven’t gotten done this summer. This morning, after taking Mrs. Paddy’s car in for the air bag recall, we’ll be playing a round of foot-golf. If you’re not familiar with it, it’s golf played with a soccer ball (no clubs either). It should be fun -- I’ll let y’all know how it goes.

RabBiT -- I hope your real estate agent is giving you good advice about what needs to be done to TMP to put it on the market and what you can skip.

It seems like it would be fun if you had clubs.

We had a great time playing foot-golf. We didn’t do to bad for first-timers, if I do say so. Sometimes it was a little hard telling where the tee boxes and greens were (the tee boxes were generally co-located with the golf tee boxes, but not always), but we figured it out.

My monthly newsletter from my state senator Fran Palvey contains this gem:

“Deteriorating infrastructure costs motorists as much as thousands of dollars a year in repairs to their vehicles. The condition of our roads is dire. Currently, 68 percent of our roads are classified as being in “poor” or “mediocre” condition. About 3,000 bridges are structurally weak and needing repair.”

“A fix will be expensive and will likely involve new funding sources.

Gee, I wonder what that means?
