Good show last night; even the opening acts were worthwhile. Real sad though in terms of attendance--Tito and Tarantula brought in maybe a 100 people. On the plus side, seating was no problem, getting drinks was no problem, and the sound was top notch.

The Santa Ana winds came in strong late last night and are blowing pretty hard, right now. I hope everything is battened down at Sven’s Mountain Redoubt.
One good thing about the winds is that they may be giving me a clue as to where my roof leak is. The tarp I put on the roof (one of those reinforced blue tarps) has been shredded by the winds. Well, I found pieces of it (just little threads) in the living room, underneath the skylight. I guess I didn’t do as good of a job sealing my skylight as I thought. I’ll try to check it from the inside today, but will wait until the winds stop before taking it off and reworking things.
Hey guys--those racist winds have died down out by our place--no real damage to speak of. You OK, Paddy? Cali?
Sadly though, troll cat has now decided that baby food is not to his liking. I cooked up a bunch of drumsticks for him tonight--see if he’ll go for one of those. Makes quite a mess though.

Winds have died down out here. No damage that I can see. Mrs. Paddy and Teh Older didn’t notice anything major in their drives, so it’s all good.
