I thought Brown was “Intermittent Governor -- When He’s Not Suckling At Another Tax-Teat -- For Life”. (I take it this “issue” is in relation to using state resources to see if there’s oil on his ranch.)
AFAIC, the only commendable thing Brown’s ever done was schtupping Linda Ronstadt back in the ’70s. 😉

Perhaps the buyer had a taste of the market. My SiL has a large two story house in Little Elm. They went big when they moved here because it was cheap after California and they had two kids with them. Now it is just the two of them and medical issues make stairs and a large house a problem so they are looking to get something smaller and single level so they can look at retiring. It is a sellers market up here and every time they see a house at any kind of reasonable price it is gone the next day. I don’t see a low bidder hoping to score getting much luck in this market.
I hope it all goes smoothly and quickly for you. You and BW have already had much more than your share of hassles. Leave some on the table for other more deserving folks. I hope you don’t get sucked back into the toxic family tar pit.
How funny. The MU professor apologizes for trying to forcibly remove a journalist yesterday. Too bad, so sad. No one on the right has been able to apologize for transgressions, real or imaginary, and hold on to their jobs.
