Fatwa Arbuckle: Misanthropologist

Hola, GN!

Hai, Mac!

Being awakened by sireens [sic] is probably preferable to looking out the window and seeing Elvira Gulch pedaling furiously through teh air.

I hope the alert was the worst disturbance you experienced. (And that you can get some rest.)

Good morning--hope all is OK, Mac, and hi, Fatwa.

Hai, Sven!

Also, cheers to Blue Glove Guy for adding the Regime Change countdown…which I noticed sometime yesterday, although it could have been up for longer. (I’m not at my best when I log-in in the morning.)

It’s been sadly interesting the past view days observing some of Il Douchey’s media lackeys finally beginning to realize what an incompetent, truculent jerk they’ve been supporting. But I’m sure they’ll get over it sooner rather than later.

I think we should demand a five-day moratorium on performances of John Lennon’s “Imagine” after all tragedies…out of simple human decency toward the victims.

Other than I think the playing of that song should be on a permanent moratorium …

Hard to sleep through tornado sirens. I guess that’s the idea.

Meep!
Good news is, there are no sirens out here. The bad news is, there are no sirens out here. On Memorial Day things got pretty damn green and swirly outside -- maybe we should have them.

We’re getting some steady rain for the moment, and the cold front’s coming -- the temp. dropped ~10° in a matter of minutes. It’ll be a nice change from the muggy weather we’ve been having.

Other than that, I got nuthin’. My usual challenges with my company’s IT dept. continue unabated -- my phone’s STILL tangled with another’s and the rest of my dept. PLUS the manager are going to be out of the office for the next two days. Guess who that leaves available to take customer calls?
No one!
Yay™ Team!
Should be a peaceful two days.
Good gravy.

Good morning, Gerbil Nation!
Good morning, TeX, Mac, Fatwa, and Sven!

Glad our Tejas contingent is safe, although it looks like TeX might still have some heavy showers ahead.

I hope things are fine at Sven’s Mountain Redoubt -- there have been some mighty strong winds, lately.

Fatwa -- sadly, I don’t think the media lackeys will ever realize that Duh Won! has always been this way and that it is largely their fault that he’s in office.

Hai, TeX!

I could live with a permanent moratorium on “Imagine”. 🙂

Sorry to read about your ongoing IT BS; hope you’re serious about having a peaceful two days…sounds as though you need it.

Well, heck.
Earlier today I posted, but had computer problems & it didn’t take.
Anyway, I slept through our sirens. BW said she “thought” she heard them , but not enough to wake her up Ha!

Sounds like they need louder sirens in some parts of Texas.

Been real windy and dry here, but no fires. Yet.
