Yesterday, BW was under the weather and stayed within sprinting distance of the small room .
I went over to TMP and met up with Good Nephew. He came to fix the furnace. He was checking all that crap ( capacitors, wiry things, etc.) when he found a new problem. One bracket holding the fan motor in the “squirrel cage”-his technical term, not mine- had come loose and the motor was leaning on one wall, making it not work properly. So he had to disconnect all the wires & take out the big tub-looking thing. He tried to get the motor out, beating it with a hammer because the bolt was corroded & rusted shut, it wouldn’t turn. He said it needed to soak in WD40 for awhile, then he could get it loose, clean it all & weld a new bracket to hold the motor. Then he can figure out the rest of the ignitor problem (whatever it is). He couldn’t get any AC warehouse to respond, so he called his teacher/friend from the AC school who told him that AC parts houses aren’t open on Saturday. His response was “Cool, I can’t wait to be a HVAC guy & get weekends off!” So he took the whole thing home to work on. Maybe he can get it running sometime Monday. We don’t know when the home inspector is coming. I’d hate for him to open the closet door & see a gaping hole in the unit!
If BW feels better today, we may have to go to TMP & run the pool pump for awhile since we had an overnight freeze. Yuck. Better safe than sorry & we sure don’t want any more pool problems.
I spent part of yesterday finally cleaning out one closet. I made a big dent in it, but somethings (a lot of things) went back into the “not ready to get rid of it yet” back. But every bit helps. The Goodwill stack is getting higher. Ha!
Gotta hop, I hear BW stirring around.

RabBit -- I hope BW feels better soon (and that you don’t catch what she has) and the Good Nephew is successful at repairing the furnace.
Fatwa -- I’m going to be really shocked if my numbers (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6) come up on Wednesday and me without a ticket. Of course if they do, a lot of people will claim it was rigged, but that just shows how little they know of statistics.
