Hi Everyone, Mrs. Sven here. I know, I should log in under my own name, but Mr. Sven has the thread open right here so, here I am. I just want to thank you all for your kind words about Troll Cat. I knew Mr. Sven referred to Rudy that way, but it wasn’t until reading your posts that I realized it had become his actual name. Hah! I thought of him more as the dwarf in the Lord of the Rings trilogy, but more handsome, less a troll. If he was a person, he would be a short fast stocky guy with red hair, maybe wearing a kilt and an ax.
Mac, Fatwa, X_LA, Paddy, Rabbit your thoughts and condolences show me what kind and wonderful friends you all are. I am so happy that Mr. Sven found you. You are truly special people and make this world a better place to be. Your thoughtfulness does make it a little easier today. Paddy, your quote and your thought on Midnight Oil 2016-02-02 brought a bittersweet smile to my face and a tear to my eye. It was perfect. I think I might ask Mr. Sven to make a small sign for our garden with that on it. Fatwa, you are so correct when you say he was confident and at ease. That guy would walk right outside without a care in the world. He had no idea that things might actually eat him.
And thank you all for the chuckles as well… hairpins.. (chortle) and doggie yoga.. (guffaw) oops. Didn’t mean to laugh that loud. It does feel good to smile.
You could not be more welcome, Ma’am, under your own name or any other. Sven has shown his love and admiration for you so often it is like you have become part of this family. It is so nice of you to share these thoughts here and before.
Thank you so much. It means so much. I don’t want to be greedy but please, should you ever be tempted to join in, you are already a part of us.
Tears and laughter, both are at home here and the Wheel has seem plenty of both, plus tears of laughter. You will find no shortage of friends ready to sit down and share either one.
Mrs. Sven -- thank you for your kind words -- this is, indeed, a special group of people, and you and your husband are a big part of it.
The candle in the window is lit and the door is unlatched. Come, sit by the fire, and rest. There is food and drink on the sideboard; take what you need -- you are welcome to it. When you leave, leave behind your worries and cares -- we’ll look after them, if you ever decide you want them back.
