A blessed Sabbath, Gerbil Nation!

Congratulations to RabBiT and BW on the sale of TMP!!!11!!!!
I hope you can clear up the rest of the estate quickly and move on with your new lives!

So far, I’ve avoided getting sunburned through the judicious application of sunscreen. I hope to continue that trend.

We had a fantastic day, yesterday, with Teh Younger and his marine search and rescue team. They had a competition that let the parents experience some of the things that the students have trained to do -- knot tying, heaving rescue lines, rigging a pump and firehose, towing a boat, etc. Today we’re hoping to get out on one of the rescue boats for a cruise before we say goodbye.

I hope y’all have a Jerry-ific day, ‘cuz you just know he will!

G’morning, Wheelizens!

Hai, Paddy! Was quite surprised to see you commenting so early until I remembered you’re in our time zone. Glad you and Mrs. Paddy are having a nice visit.

I’d best put another pot o’ coffee on.

Is Trump inevitable? God, I hope not.

Hai, Sven!

I think a Trump is what you get after decades of both major parties shoving awful, Constitution-hating jackasses down our throats for POTUS, Congress and state / local offices…along with the continually accelerating expansion of the Leviathan state, shitty economy, increasing terror attacks, etc.

Unfortunately, we’re ripe for demagoguery (like Obama) and Trump’s the biggest adherent of same this election cycle; I believe it’ll get worse over the next few cycles.

At the risk of Godwinning myself, this is how a relatively civilized, cultured country such as Germany winds up electing Herr Schickelgr├╝ber and then obeying him.

(And yes, I’m starting to get a wee bit concerned about the growing Joo-hatred coming mostly -- but not exclusively -- from the left.)
