I agree, Fatwa, with what you wrote yesterday re: Trump being the logical outcome of the last several years of asshat tomfoolery that has become our elected officials.
Trump is the “none of the above” candidate that ought to appear on every ballot. Sadly, NOTA might actually win and sit on the Iron Throne.
As interesting and entertaining as this election cycle has been, my guess is that the real fireworks will be in 2020.
If you’re right, it’ll be another four years of liberty being eroded -- probably at an increasing pace. Which cannot lead us anywhere good.
I’d like to see a “none of the above” choice on all ballots at every level. (I’d actually prefer more voters who embraced our founding principles, but ain’t holding my breath.)
No, but things may have to get really bad before they get better. Right now, things are bearable. Four years of Trump or Clinton or Sanders will do that trick.

Agreed on the latter; not so much on the former. (Because I’ve gotten to the point where the only part of the FedGov I have any trust in whatsoever are the non-Pentagon military folks.)
Ah…my old friend Monday is back; gaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!
Um, coffee?
Y’know, I think I’m gonna have tea this morning.
Good morning, Fatwa and the rest of teh gerbil horde.
Here’s what was playing in my head in this morning when I woke up--why, I have no idea.
Hai, Sven!
I’d never heard that particular version of “Ain’t No Sunshine”; not at all what I expected.
Hope your plan to “go rogue” at Teh Bestest Place Evar comes to fruition.

Off to work at the bestest place ever and to advance to Step 2 of my going rogue plan.
A fine day to all.
