Teh Squeaky Wheel
Read your email from yesterday; seems as though that company has a lot of serious issues. Too bad your interest in resolving some of them keeps being rebuffed…so fark ’em. Whatever happens, hope you land on your feet.
Also fark the treasonous scum who run California…but it’s a great opportunity for entrepreneurs to get into the magazine- and ammo-running business. 👿
Glad you had a nice time -- ‘cept for the drunk -- at the concert. Maybe Sven(lanka) will find his missing wife.
Got this from a virtual buddy; don’t know where it was taken (it’s from about a week ago) but it caused giggling at CasaK:
Happy Friday, Gerbil Nation!
Good morning, Fatwa!
Sven -- good luck today at Teh Bestest Place to Work, Evah!
In re California -- too bad we don’t have some foundational document that protects our fundamental rights from an over-reaching government.
What’s really too bad is that an insufficient number of people are -- at this time -- willing to enforce the highest law in the land using the means clearly granted to us for that express purpose.
Funny how the document spelling out that law also gives us the method -- as well as the moral and legal right -- to enforce it.
Sorry Mr. Franklin; we’re no longer willing to keep the Republic.
Sven, you will enjoy that concert. Joe Walsh is great..as long as he keeps his teeth in!
I loved Bad Company too.
Keep a lookout for that wife..her name is Marta and she is stumbling drunk.
…and if you are going to get drunk, bring lots of $$. The good craft beers are $16 each! (One more reason to stay sober).
The Ivanpah solar generating plant set itself on fire yesterday.
Per the article, they’re blaming “misaligned mirrors”. Personally, I think it was birds; they finally got tired of their avian buddies being turned into “streamers”.
Mirrors. That’s why I avoid them as much as possible. Not trustworthy in the least and they are always talking about transitioning to windows.
That personal matter? It looks like the major transition has been avoided so that’s a huge weight off of me. There’s still some other stuff i have to think about, but that’s a task for Sunday.
Off to see Mr Walsh and those old Bad Company guys--do like Mick Ralphs from his Mott days and Mick Rogers has a great voice. Will keep an eye out for Martha.
Sorry that I wont be around for the Captioning COntest, but please do your best without me.
As my favorite fairy would say: POOF!
