I’m glad that President Obama went to Hiroshima so that he could “apologize” for American actions there 71 years ago. It’s only fair after the Japanese Emperor went to Pearl Harbor and apologized; went to the Philippines and apologized; went to China and apologized; apologized for the kamikaze attacks; etc.

Oh wait…

Hai, Sven!

Il Douchey’s still trying to live up to that bullshit Peace Prize despite having had more “war years” than any previous president. (If the Nobel committee had any integrity, they’d have yanked that damned prize by now. But then, they gave Arafat and Carter one, too.)

Guess it also doesn’t matter that the U.S. leafleted 35 Japanese cities before and after Hiroshima to warn civilians about what was coming.

Happy Friday, Gerbil Nation!
Good morning, Fatwa, and Sven!

I think I’ll pass on the bacon coffee mug -- there’s just something about greasy coffee that doesn’t sit right with me.

I’m glad President 4Putt is taking advantage of the opportunity to travel now, rather than when he has to pick up the expenses, himself. He’s worked so hard, you know, and the American public really hasn’t appreciated all the effort he has put in. Seriously, we haven’t appreciated his efforts.

Hai, Paddy!

Greasy coffee is a bit reminiscent of old-fashioned truck stops and chipped-Formica-counter coffee shops, I s’pose.

I also reckon our current C-in-C will have plenty of people, ah, assisting him with finances, travel, etc., after he steps down. After all…he’s historic and shit.

he’s historic and shit.

I can’t argue with that.

That would be a great book title. Obama: Historic and Shit. I like it.

Trump is down in San Diego and I’m flipping through the cable news channels and land on MSNBC where they have a man on the ground bravely reporting from inside the hordes of protesters. MSNBC is showing signs that say “F*ck Trump” along with the obligatory Mexican flags and Trump pinatas being smashed. All of that is apparently OK, but some smart alec yells “Why don’t you f*ck her in the p*ssy”, not quite sure who or what he was referring to, but the hosts back in the studio were aghast. So much so that the host, Chris Hayes or Rachael Maddow, they both look the same and I can’t tell them apart, verbally took the protester to task saying he was immature, his comment was inappropriate, not funny, and he should grow up.

Funny shit. Perhaps even historic.

How funny too with the pro-Trump camp. They were all onboard with the idea of a Trump-Sanders debate calling it a great idea. Now that Trump has backed away, their tune has changed to he’s so smart to avoid a debate.

Kool-Aid: not just for the Left anymore.

Time to break out the lawn chairs and industrial-sized popcorn maker -- it’s going to be an even longer election season.

Indeed, Paddy.

As much as I despise Trump, I have to admit that all of the right people are hating him.

Reading Hot Air, it’s hard to believe that in 1945 only 69% of Americans approved of the atomic bomb. Given 4 years of war and the atrocities that occurred, I would have figured it would at least have been in the high 80s.

I wonder which major party convention is going to be accompanied by more impassioned protests goonish thuggery.

Philly’s goonyun members are demonstrably more violent these days than Cleveland’s. But I don’t know which city has the more, erm, forceful “urban / lefty” hordes. And I think the small but noisy “Aryan” contingent in the Drumpf camp will be a wild card in both cities.

Time to break out the lawn chairs and industrial-sized popcorn maker…

Personally, I’m going to wait until the scaffolds are built and the tumbrels are rolling to get that festive. 👿
