I see the Religion of Peace has taken their message of love and tolerance to a gay nightclub in Orlando. I’m sure the call for stricter gun control will emerge before the government admits that this was an act of Islamic terrorism.
You two are absolutely correct; some imam Islamist tool has already claimed the 2A is the problem. Along with men kissing in Miami, which Papa McHankyhead stated was what set Junior off.
I wonder if CAIR’s Ibrahim Cooper has expressed his concern about a “backlash” (which, alas, never seems to actually happen) yet?
I see that President 4Putt has already decided that we can’t say what the terrorist’s motivations were, but he can say that guns are the problem:
Today marks the most deadly shooting in American history. The shooter was apparently armed with a handgun and a powerful assault rifle. This massacre is therefore a further reminder of how easy it is for someone to get their hands on a weapon that lets them shoot people in a school, or in a house of worship, or a movie theater, or in a nightclub. And we have to decide if that’s the kind of country we want to be. And to actively do nothing is a decision as well.
Orlando murderer had been on FBI watchlist.
Tsarnaevs had been on FBI watchlist
Bakersfield jihadists had been on FBI watchlist
Texas MoToon contest cadavers had been on FBI watchlist.
Minnesota Congressman (guess the party) Keith Ellison’s statement regarding Orlando:
“No religion justifies such a senseless act of terror. All decent people must condemn this hateful act that claimed the lives of 50 people and injured 53 more. Sadly, Orlando has now joined Aurora, Charleston, Newtown, Oak Ridge, and many other communities rocked by gun violence. This is yet another reminder that Congress must pass meaningful, common-sense gun reforms that include a ban on assault weapons, which have no place in civilian hands. Members of Congress must stand up to the NRA.”
G’day, GN!
Dalmatians are the worst. Pure, unadulterated evil…despite Disney’s attempts to make us believe otherwise.
A blessed Sabbath, Gerbil Nation!
Good morning, Fatwa!
It’s another cool, drizzly day, here in paradise. Drizzly, but not rainy. Nope. Can’t have rain.
Good morning Fatwa and Paddy and the rest of the GN horde! Cool and drizzly here too, Paddy. Lovely weather.
It’s disappointing about Petraeus, but there you go.
Looks like the RoP has struck again, this time in Florida, so that means we’ll be bombarded by more gun control rhetoric in 3,2,1.

Hai, Paddy and Sven!

Once again the American people, or at least the NRA and the rest of gun-owning Americans, have disappointed Barack Obama.
Maybe if we disappoint Il Douchey sufficiently, he’ll get into a nice, warm bath and open up a wrist.

Wee-yurd.
Apparently the watch list is a good predictor of future activity.
I thought maybe the watch list caused radicalization.

Everytown for GunSafety:
“Remember: the NRA works to ease gun restrictions for dangerous people who hate. And peddles hate to gun owners.”
