Teh Squeaky Wheel
Infamous saluations, GN!
I’m mighty grateful we developed the first working nukes and had the fortitude to use them. Twice. Importing electronics and automobiles while exporting Levis and music (especially jazz) is definitely an improvement over furious fighting from island to island. 👿
Didja ever hear the one about the confused guy who was half-Japanese and half-Jewish? Every December 7th, he attacked Pearl Schwartz.
Good morning Fatwa and hello GN!
While I feel bad for anyone suffering mental or physical pain and anguish, I can’t help but laugh a bit this poor fool:
“Terror drove me to this interrupted state. I was afraid for the nation, for the stigmatized and oppressed. I was also afraid for my own life. Because the values and principles I hold dear felt fatally incompatible with the hate and bigotry that Trumpism had come to stand for. I did not want to live in a world that would elect such a man as president.”
Being a Bad Gerbil, I’m afraid I smirked and sniggered through that entire article and most of the comments. (Not mocking mental illness; just that particular jackass.)
My brother just texted me pondering if the Tokyo Symphony will be performing Haydn’s Symphony No. 94 (the “Surprise” symphony) today. I responded that the encore will be an orchestral arrangement of “Me And My Shadow”. 👿
Good morning, Gerbil Nation!
Good morning, Fatwa, and Sven!
Thanks for the thread pic, Mac!
Sven -- that’s a special snowflake, right there.
Just read that the pusillanimous, corrupt and depraved GOP leadership will not impeach demonstrable criminal John Koskinen.
Good evening! It’s cold and dark outside. Colder and darker than usual as a dark cloud descends over our nation. The Trump era.
I haven’t seen Jack Tatum in three days, but someone or something is eating the food I leave out, so maybe there’s a cat still living here.
I hope he’s Ok, Sven. You are a good cat daddy.
Thanks, Mac. I hope so too. He’s a good cat, but young and dumb.
I used to be young and dumb. I got over one of them. Sadly it was the former, not the latter.
