Well, the NFL season is over for me. A few weeks ago, I expected the Raiders to win their first playoff game and lose their second, but that wasn’t to be. This team is still short 2-3 players on the defensive side of the ball to be really good. Will they pick them up in the offseason? Likely.
But I wonder about Derek Carr: how will the injuries he suffered this past season affect him both physically and mentally in 2017? Not sure.
This past season, the Raiders exceeded expectations up until their last two games when they completely imploded. They have good excuses, but it’s an awful way to end the season and I wonder how that will carry over into next year.
