G’day, Wheelizens; it appears to be “Quizzical Duck Thursday” here at Teh Squeak.

Hope RabBeet and Mac are healing well.

In my Twitter feed last night, some wag posted a pic of a bonfire at Berkeley with the caption “Milo is now the 2nd most flaming thing on UC Berkeley’s campus.”.

I LOL’d.

Sure Happy It’s Thursday, Gerbil Nation!
Good morning, Fatwa!
Happy GroundDuck Day!
Wait. That doesn’t sound right.

At the rate the Left is going, I wonder how much of the two coasts will be left by Christmas. Oh, and I can’t wait to skip the Academy Awards this year. You just know that’s going to be a mixture of virtue signalling and Trump hating.

Does this close-up make my beak look fat?

Look at the nose holes.
Just above, it looks like a horse’s ears.
So it is like a horse head coming out of the duck.
Like the movie Alien..
No, I am not on any weird drugs. I think this way naturally!!!

Much as I hope a significant percentage of coasties dissolve in their own bile, I’m pretty sure I’m doomed to disappointed.

I don’t know a thing about Rex Tillerson, the new Secretary of State, but I caught his speech at his welcome ceremony today and I was impressed. Humble, competent, and zero bombast. First impressions: this is a guy I’d like to work for. Worth watching.

Reading about a car and driver that drove through some of the protesters last night, and this caught my eye:

“After a block, some of the sprinters came across another car, a black Toyota, with a delivery driver inside who happened to be at the wrong place, at the wrong time. Several crowd members beat the car with sticks, and pepper sprayed the man through his open window, thinking he was the one responsible.”

“Realizing their mistake, the protesters started apologizing and offered the man water to wash his eyes of the stinging spray, as others called to give him room, to let him breathe.”

Nice that they apologized. An honest mistake, could have happened to anyone.
