I posted on the MO because I did not want to be the ghost at the feast but I realized from a comment yesterday that I was being rude to people who shared their concern and prayers for me and others. I am so often helped from the darkness by the close family here, and I suspect I am not the only one. I thank you all for that. You mean more to me than I can express. You are all just a rowdy bunch!!
Several years ago, some neo-nazi guys from up north were coming down to Simi Valley to protest at a Catholic church that had been harboring an illegal alien from South America or Mexico or some such place. I was furious. Bastards, nazis, coming from out of town to my town? Nope. No way.
Anyhow, it was you, Mac, that pointed out that no matter how loathsome someone is, or how hateful their speech is, you shouldn’t physically stop them from speaking their thoughts.
I remember that often now as it seems everyone that isn’t one of the special groups of lefties is immediately labeled a nazi.
You are very kind, Sir, but too generous. I think this place has always been open to other opinions. You have always been a man of passions, but passions well governed. I have nothing to teach you in this respect and much to learn.
