Teh Squeaky Wheel
[Insert witty Schrödinger’s cat reference here]
If I had a lot more money, I’d send Maxine Waters one of these as a “FY”:
Well, once again I got nuthin’, but I do want to wish everybody a happy Thursday and hi Fatwa!
Jim’s doing a small flat roof in Hermosa Beach today. In addition to the cost of a building permit, he had to purchase a 1-year business license for $300. (The city is literally 1.4 square miles…and can go sodomize itself with a barbed wire appliance.)
Sure Happy It’s Thursday, Gerbil Nation!
Good morning, Fatwa, and Sven!
Teh Older and I are going for a hike in the local mountains today. Then I need to work on my “reflection” paper for my class. What a load of crap.
Considering all the things Maxine Waters has said about others, I don’t think she has any room to complain -- but that won’t stop her.
Can’t you tell your employer you’re a Vampire-American and don’t have a reflection? (And that because of that, you’re terribly offended by their insensitive, corporeal-normative, cis-living request?) 👿
The only positive I can think of re Ms. Waters is that, on a good day, she’s ever-so-slightly smarter than her colleagues Hank Johnson and Sheila Jackson Lee.
Massive fire under an I-85 bridge in midtown ATL; looks like about a 40′ section of the northbound section pancaked onto the street below. No injuries but the commute into and out of downtown from / to north of the city is going to be a clusterfark for however many weeks it’ll take to fix it.
Probably some fire damage to the southbound section as well.
Very glad it ought not affect CommuterK’s route too much…if at all.
That’s good news for Ms Brenda, Fatwa.
I must have missed the whole Maxine Walters thing. Whatever it was, not surprising. The woman is an idiot.
How’s your reflection, Paddy?
The current Waters flap is because Bill O’Reilly made fun of her wig and compared it -- not inaccurately, IMO -- to James Brown’s hair. Ol’ Maxine didn’t take kindly to that.
And, of course, “O’Reilly’s a raaaaaacist!”
I feel like I’m coming down with something -- sore throat, slightly feverish -- and haven’t been able to concentrate. It’s really been a slog.
“How will what you learned inform your instruction?”
I didn’t learn a darned thing -- this class was just a rehash of things I’ve already learned -- so it’s hard to answer your question.
“How did your view of learners with mild disabilities change?”
Were you not paying attention? See above. If you still don’t understand, read it again.
“Synthesize all the readings, videos, and assignments.”
Starting from the naturally occurring elements?
