Good morning, Fatwa, and Sven!
Mrs. Paddy, Teh Older, and I went to a farewell celebration for the man who taught both of my sons Latin, and much more. He’s a guy who made it cool to study Latin, dress up in togas for midnight movie releases of 300 and Clash of The Titans, and attend regional and state Latin conventions. He’s a man who touched the lives of so many students and families, and he’s leaving the state and leaving education. From the many conversations last night I heard a general agreement that education had changed since 2005 when this incredible educator joined the faculty at the high school -- and not for the better. What a shame and what a loss.
