Our heat wave has finally broken with temps expected to be 10 degrees cooler than yesterday which is a darn good thing. No fires locally, but Santa Barbara is getting hammered bad.

Teh Yay! for cooler temps! Although ten degrees cooler for you is still too dang hot! No workers here today, so we can keep the house closed up. It should be much, much nicer.
Our refrigerator got moved out to the garage for the duration of the renovation and this heat has not done it any good. The freezer can’t -- we haven’t had ice cubes in several days.
