Fatwa Arbuckle: Misanthropologist

Excellent thread pic, Mac; heh.

Monday again? Teh yay!!1! Gaaaaaaaaaah!!1!

“F*ck you…I’m a shark dog!”

Y’know, I’d bet there would be fewer sicarios -- and victims -- if this country ended its foolish War on Drugs. Unfortunately, AG Sessions is a moralistic, oath-breaking, ambulatory POS who has no regard for either due process or federalism.

Wish we could chainsaw the FedGov back to its constitutional limits.

Good morning,

Another Monday; another crisis in the White House. I wonder what it will be today?

Hi, Fatwa. Agree -- if we ended the WOD, there’d be less violence and depravity in Mexico and we’d be more in line with the original intent of the Constitution. But we have the WOD now and it isn’t going away anytime soon.

If you snort coke today in California, those bodies that they find in Mexico belong to you. There’s no getting around it and it’s way past time that we in America acknowledged it. Celebrities love to lecture us on how my SUV is killing the planet; how my plastic bags are destroying the oceans; how “blood diamonds” were paid for by the deaths of thousands of Africans; and yet they are strangely silent about the barbarity that occurs daily just south of us.

Odd. I can’t imagine why they are quiet.

Good morning, Gerbil Nation!
Good morning, Fatwa, and Sven!

Way back in the early 80’s, I attended a town hall meeting put on by a local judge who was running for higher office. In that meeting he laid out his arguments for the legalization of drugs. It made sense then, and it makes sense now. My very conservative father-in-law felt the same way.

Heard from my contractor today -- counter tops are supposed to be installed tomorrow at 4 pm. Haven’t heard back from my painter who was supposed to paint the ceiling last week.

During college, while on breaks, I worked for a friend of mine who was a painting contractor. One of my primary jobs was customer service/satisfaction. The fact that I was the person in that position says much more about the nature of contractors and their relationship with customer service than it does about the quality of work I could produce or my people skills (practically non--existent).
