Dayum, I really hate flying these days, largely because of the TSA rigamarole. Aside from being mostly pointless in terms of achieving its intended “security” goals, it’s demeaning.
Especially to older and/or infirm people.
And kids.
And pretty much everyone else.
I wish ATL would privatize security but that’ll probably never happen due to, erm, “politics”.
Oh well, at least at BUR they’re significantly more “customer-friendly”; the return trip will be a little more pleasant in that regard.
Of course they will, Paddy. Cuz that’s what they do. Their mindset is truly divisive and they can’t conceive of anything beyond the binary.
But Charlottesville is what happens when you ignore violence from the left and the Republicans obligingly play their part in terms of condemnation and apology while not demanding the same from their political opponents. Trump though, no matter what he said yesterday, it wasn’t going to be good enough.
Although summer is halfway gone, it might still heat up.
