Good morning, Gerbil Nation!
Good morning, Sven!

Poor doggeh! OTOH, that’s better acting than I’ve seen in a lot of movies.

My local paper led off with a story from the WaPo berating PDT for placing blame on both sides for the violence in Charlottesville. Placing blame on the Left? We can’t have that!

As expected, the media, through Journ-o-list 2.0, has come out with their latest meme regarding the lack of left-wing violence. They’re equating the soldiers who stormed the beaches at Normandy with the Antifa and BLM thugs who assaulted the KKK/Nazi’s at Charlottesville.

Hola, GN!

Hiai, Sven and Paddy!

Day One of the job went pretty well; I’d give it an 8/10. Tired, but wanted to check in with ya’ll [sic].

Watching Trump’s press conference the other day, that was the first time that I cheered the man as opposed to either laughing at the reaction from the Left or shaking my head in disgust at his stupidity.

The issue in play is less racism and violence in America as it is the Left and the media controlling a false narrative or version of the truth. And there’s no doubt that the media and the Left are tied so tightly together that you couldn’t pry them apart with a crowbar. We can survive Trump; hell, we survived Obama. What we can’t survive is the supposedly unbiased media doing everything in its power to force a leftist/progressive agenda on the country.

And the Republicans? F**king gutless unteachable fools more afraid of being thought as racists than standing up to the Left and forcing them to live by the same standards they apply to the Right.

What I like about Trump is that he’s actually not of the Republican party and as such, he’s actually just maybe pushing the country back to its original governing concept of three co-equal branches as opposed to this party bullshit. I like that Congress doesn’t like the President and vice versa. That’s where the tension and collaboration belong, not this side of the aisle crap.

I have no great love for Donald Trump, but what he said yesterday needed to be said. He shouldn’t have had to say it -- that should have been the job of the media or the Republicans, but there you go.

And another thing, this bullshit “our police force did a great job and we are so proud of our first responders” is becoming a joke and not just from the command and political side, but the rank and file as well. You didn’t interfere because you were ordered not to? You just stood by and watched when you could have done the right thing? F**k you too -- that’s happened far too many times in the past 18 months and that’s on you guys.

Exactly!
I was just following orders shouldn’t fly.
