Respectfully Sir, if it was the government we would have gotten back only 25 minutes and been told how grateful we should be for all that extra time they gave us.
They don’t even like all that extra time they took from us, they only took it to help decide how we should live and work. How would we run our lives and families without their wise guidance?
The local paper had the story of the protest in LA on page 10. The story said that between the protesters and counter-protesters, there were almost a thousand people. In a place as liberal as LA, you couldn’t even get 1,000 people to show up to protest PDT? That’s just sad.
Just watched a video of Larry David’s SNL monologue from last night, which allegedly upset some folks because at the end, he did a little schtick about trying to pick-up girls in a concentration camp. AFAIC, it was offensive…because it was utterly and completely lame.
I mean, if you’re going to use such a tasteless premise for stand-up, you need to seriously fookin’ go BIG! David pussied-out completely, which I found cowardly and reprehensible.
But then, I’m easily offended. đŸ˜‰
The mediocre first line which came to my mind -- “Hey, Mordechai…check out the rib cage on that babe!” -- is funnier and “edgier” than any of David’s stuff.
I also notice that none of the oh-so-tolerant are complaining about his jokes about the blind or disabled, or sexual assaults by people in power -- let alone his piss-poor material and lack of comedic timing.
Already seeing calls for gun bans. Thay ignore the fact the bad guy was already illegal to have a gun due to his dishonorable discharge and he was stopped by an armed citizen. As far as I can see, gun bans would only have disarmed the man who stopped the shooter, not the shooter himself.
That cat is a little creepy -- it’s like the Harvey Weinstein of cats.
Thankfully today the govt is giving us the hour back they stole earlier in the year. Probably the only thing they ever give back.
