Happy “Skeered To Press Dat” Thursday, GN!

Hope Sven’s feeling better this morning.

While a lot of snow sublimated yesterday because the humidity was so low (especially on sidewalks and roadways), CorporateToolK’s employer encouraged people to work remotely today; yay! (I was nervous about her being on the roads due to black ice and carpy drivers.)

If General Sherman had had a weather machine, he wouldn’t have had to burn Atlanta. 👿

Good morning,

Feeling better, Fatwa, but my head feels like it’s stuffed full of mud and is about twice as big as normal. I think maybe I’ll call in sick and crawl back into bed.

“Black ice”? Sounds racist to me.

Sure Happy It’s Thursday, Gerbil Nation!
Good morning, Fatwa, and Sven!

I’m glad CorporateLackeyK gets to avoid teh ice follies today.

“Black ice”? Sounds racist to me.

It’s also the most dangerous, but that’s probably due to profiling and a history of repression.

Hey, Sven teh Sick and Paddy!

Your comments re black ice were appreciated; heh.

They also reminded me of the 2010 flap about a space-themed Hallmark graduation card which the morons at the NAACP found “racist” because they’re stump-stupid:

LambiePieK adds: “We don’t repress our black ice around here; if we did, we could drive to work.”

I had my own 2014 flap about black holes. Two students were arguing whether or not “black holes” was racist. I told them not everything was racist, turned to the one African-American girl in class and said “I’m sorry”. That statement was used to accuse me of being racist.
