Today is the last day of the semester and Progress Reports are due for students in special education. What are Progress Reports? A report on a student’s progress on each of the goals written into their Individualized Education Plan (IEP). So that means gathering input from teachers, psychologists, speech-language therapists, occupational therapists, adaptive PE teachers, etc., entering the data into a student’s record, printing the PR’s, mailing one copy to the parent, another copy to the school office, emailing a third copy to the parent, and uploading a fourth copy to SharePoint. Yeah, it’s a lot of fun.
Huh. Thursday night. Mrs Sven has had the business trip from hell. I blame residuals from the govt shutdown. She ought to be home around 2 tomorrow morning.
