Maaaaaan, the more that comes out about Parkland, the sharper the stench of gummint fail at multiple levels.
It’s a bit disappointing to see how many companies are falling all over themselves to dump their “NRA member” discounts to appease loudmouth gun-grabbers. (I’ll be curious to see how it affects their bottom lines.)
I suspect the race to politicize this tragedy will amount to the “liberals” shooting themselves in both feet re the mid-terms. (They really ought to have taken a gun safety course.)
Cynical as I am, I’m appalled and angry at the ghoulish delight with which so many of our fellow Americans across the political spectrum are trying to score points on the backs of 17 innocent murder victims.
Lastly, IMO Sheriff Scott Israel is a feculent piece of human garbage who represents the absolute worst qualities of LEOs and politicians; stellar job, Scotty!

One of the assignments that I have due tomorrow is to right a two-paragraph reflection on each of a couple of articles related to education. One, a “study”, published in a peer-reviewed journal, was so bad that the second paragraph of my reflection pointed at and mocked its lack of scientific rigor, poor experimental design, lack of data, and poor grammar and syntax. We’ll see how the prof reacts.
Justin Trudeau visited India and behaved like a multi-culti git; repeatedly wearing Indian garb, etc.
Trudeau’s hometown paper, the Ottawa Citizen, compared Trudeau’s India trip to George H.W. Bush’s 1992 trip to Tokyo, where Bush vomited on Japan’s prime minister.
One more reason to stay out of the ocean.
