This is an amazing half hour on CSPAN: World War I Soldiers and Art in the Trenches American History TV visited the Smithsonian National Air & Space Museum to learn about stone carvings left behind in bunkers and trenches by World War I soldiers and only recently rediscovered. Our guide was Dr. Jeff Gusky, whose photographs of the carvings are featured in the exhibit titled “Soldier Artists: Self-Expression in the Trenches.”
Good morning, Wheelizens.
My deepest gratitude to those in our armed services who gave their lives for this country.
Good morning, Gerbil Nation.
