Fatwa Arbuckle: Misanthropologist

Happy “Poo Kitty Thursday”, Wheelizens!

Paddy --

Bummer about all the household chaos; hope a lot of it gets resolved today.

Instead of Dunkin’ Donuts, why not use your local Starbucks for free WiFi? (‘Cause you can use their turlet for free, too.)

Sven --

I saw that AoSHQ bit earlier this morning; pretty spot-on AFAIC.

Sure Happy It’s Thursday, Gerbil Nation!
Good morning, Fatwa!

I chose DD over Starsucks because I plan to sit in my car during the meetings, not sit in the establishment and I can get closer at the local DD than at Starsucks. I don’t want to be that guy that sits in the restaurant talking for hours, disturbing everyone around me, and I also don’t want the background noise intruding on the meeting. The free conference service I use is a bit walkie-talkie-ish.

Not much will get done on the remodel front today, as we’ll be without power from 8a -- 4p. The painter will be here to prep and possibly prime the doors, casings, and crown moldings in the bedroom and the contractor will finish installing the door hardware, but he can’t really do more than that.

But it sounds like it’s down to the short strokes, Paddy.

This is just awful…separating this man from his children:

“Bild also reported that the suspect bought bomb-making materials and chemicals used in the production of ricin. It said the suspect lived in the Chorweiler neighborhood of Cologne with his wife, a convert to Islam, and four children. He supposedly used instructions to make a ricin bomb that had been posted online by the extremist Islamic State group.”

Meanwhile, not much has changed with our southern neighbors:
