Fatwa Arbuckle: Misanthropologist

Hahahahahahaha; good find, Mac!

Paddy --

Hope the maximum amount of work possible with no electricity got done on your home.

Huh…wonder if making ricin in a German apartment counts as “cultural enrichment”?

Found out this morning that there’s been a “SuperFly” reboot; watched the trailer and it looks truly awful. Ron O’Neal had a sorta cool ‘do in the original; the new guy looks like he’s wearing a poop emoji on his head.

What did I just watch? Yeah, I’m sure that’s gonna be a big box office hit! When it flops, I’m sure they’ll blame white audiences.

Well, at least Wendy’s is honest about it -- happy Friday, GN, and good morning, Fatwa.

Happy Friday, Gerbil Nation!
Good morning, Fatwa, and Sven!

Man, it’s good to have electricity! I’ve got three computer screens to help with all of the stuff I’ve got open at any given moment and going down to one was a real pain and productivity killer.

Heya, Sven and Paddy!

When it flops, I’m sure they’ll blame white audiences.

‘Cause we don’t appreciate “black culture”.

But when I perform the music I love best -- jazz, funk, R&B -- then I’m “appropriating” that culture. Y’know, the one I don’t appreciate, except for having studied it literally since I was a child.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Got my bro good earlier this morning. We’re constantly digging-up obscure childhood references to try and stump one another with and he totally forgot about the short-lived Banana Wackies cereal. Muwahahahaha.

I have no recollection of that one!

Yeah, me either.

These are awful even by the very low standards of mid-’60s cereal commercials. It was not a successful product. 👿

I watched several of those commercials and still have no recollection of Wackies.
