Hmmm…primate in a hammock…primates love bananas, ergo banana hammock thread GIF!!

Who is this new admin “Mud”? 😉

Either Nazi Germany wasn’t so bad or the Left is mistaken re: migrant concentration camps on our border.

Dad’s family was so excited to travel from Ploiești to that fabulous spa in Belgrade that they left home in the middle of the night. 👿

True story: When Dad was attending Roosevelt University in Chicago (which accepted him despite the fact his formal education ended with 8th grade), he took a Modern History class. He wrote a term paper on the bombing of Belgrade, which he witnessed from the camp, as it was just across the Sava River from downtown Belgrade.

He was the “source” of all the footnotes…and wound-up getting an A. What a pissant the man was. (I am but an egg.)

This ought to be an interesting case: a CA judge (Harold Kahn, who is not named in the linked post) has ruled that Twitter may be sued for falsely advertising they permit free speech:

While Twitter is a private company which may implement any user policies it wishes (so long as they’re legal), I think this is a fair and much-needed challenge, since they actually censor users in an underhanded and non-transparent manner.

Good morning, Gerbil Nation!
Good morning, Fatwa, and Mac Mud!

Mac -- I understand your concern, but I think it’s past time that the Left was made to play by their own rules. We can’t have one set of rules for one portion of society and another set for the rest. Well, we can, but look where that’s gotten us.

Yep, they will.

Hello, Mac-In-Disguise and Paddy!

I think going after Twitter for “false advertising” is a good legal tactic and well-warranted. I have seen them violate their own Terms of Service on countless occasions and the “bias” has always been, shall we say, in favor of users with a liberal / “progressive” agenda.

And I’d find it just as “wrong” if the bias went the other way.

I don’t expect this case to have what I would deem a salutary verdict (because our legal system is largely so shitty), but I’m glad it’s at least being allowed to go forward to the next stage.

Watching cable news. Ugh. My bet is that the first major physical violence incident will occur before the end of the week. And then we’ll be told that BOTH sides have to tone down the rhetoric.
